Monash University Malaysia has secured its position as the top-performing institution among Malaysia's 19 self-accredited universities. With an outstanding score surpassing 90%, Monash University Malaysia stands out as a symbol of academic excellence. In comparison, seven universities achieved approximately 80%, while six institutions scored around 70%. Among these 19 institutions are some of Malaysia's most esteemed universities, including renowned public institutions like University Malaya and University Science Malaysia, foreign branch campuses and private universities. Monash University Malaysia's achievement underscores its commitment to academic excellence and places it at the forefront of higher education in Malaysia. Evaluated across four key areas, including Institutional Leadership and Governance, Academic Development and Management, Talent and Resources, and Continual Quality Improvement and Sustainability, Monash University Malaysia showcased outstanding results, nearly perfecting three assessed areas. This notable achievement reflects the institution's dedication to excellence. The endorsement from MOHE and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency further validates Monash University Malaysia’s commitment to maintaining high standards of education and governance. Monash University Malaysia was granted self-accreditation status by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) on 29 April 2010. This prestigious status enables the university to ensure the quality of its academic programs with the exception of professional programs requiring accreditation from relevant professional bodies, through an internal accreditation process based on the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) and standards set by MQA and the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). Notably, only 19 institutions in Malaysia have been granted self-accreditation status. Monash University Malaysia continues to be at the forefront of academic innovation and excellence, providing students with world-class education and preparing them to be successful in their future careers.
