23rd June 2025, Serdang – The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) received a visit from the Centre for Quality Assurance, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL). The delegation was led by Tuan Haji Roslan Yahaya, as Director, UniKL Centre for Quality Assurance. There were also five staffs participating in this benchmarking visit. The purpose of this visit is to share experiences related to processes, systems and documentation involving quality management and accreditation, as well as to build a collaborative network with the Quality Assurance Centers at IPTAs so that they can share good practices in quality management at their respective universities.
	The visit was facilitated by the CQA Director, Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim Abu Talib together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Syamilah Zakaria, Deputy Director of Academic Quality Assurance and Pn. Hajah Haslida Hassan, Deputy Director of Service Quality Assurance. Meanwhile, the presentation session was conducted by the Head of Section under Academic Quality Assurance consisting of Ms. Hajah Aidawati Ramali (Head of Program Data Section), Puan Rahmawati Umar (Head of Program Audit Section) and Puan Shaerin Azlin Ab Rahman (Head of Institutional Audit Section). Meanwhile, the presentation session from Service Quality Assurance was delivered by Puan Nurainakmal Kamal Bahrin (Head of Documentation Section) and Pn. Hajah Haslida Hassan (Deputy Director of Service Quality Assurance). Overall, this three-hour discussion session had a positive impact on both Universities because they were able to share information and exchange views on the best and most suitable management and implementation of academic quality at their respective Universities.
