17th April 2026, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organised a Briefing on the Implementation and Second Evaluation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Practices in conjunction with UPM’s Quality and Innovation Day celebration. The session was conducted in a hybrid format at the Dewan Taklimat Serdang, Level 1, Bangunan Canselori Putra, and was attended by all UPM EKSA Facilitators and EKSA Coordinators from Responsibility Centres (PTJ). Members of the EKSA Audit, Training, and Promotion Committees from respective PTJs were also present. The briefing aimed to provide further clarification on the latest EKSA Implementation Guidelines (Edition 3.0) in promoting a systematic, conducive, and corporate-image-driven work environment in line with EKSA evaluation requirements. These guidelines have been in effect since 2020 and are continuously reviewed and improved to ensure relevance with current needs and developments, as well as to support the upcoming second EKSA evaluation. A total of 288 participants attended the session, including representatives from UPM Sarawak (UPMS). The briefing was delivered by Puan Nurainakmal Binti Kamal Bahrin, UPM EKSA Coordinator and Head of the Documentation Section at CQA. The session focused on the content of the EKSA Implementation Guidelines (Edition 3.0), as well as detailed explanations of the generic and specific assessment rubrics/criteria and preparations for the upcoming second-stage EKSA evaluation. The briefing also addressed various questions raised by participants, providing further clarity to support EKSA implementation at the PTJ level. |
