29th April 2026, Serdang –  Centre for Quality Assurance has organised the QMS MS ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit Enhancement Course for the year 2026 on 31st March to 1st April 2026 (Tuesday - Wednesday) at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Engineering, UPM starting at 9.00 am until 5.00 pm. This course is an enhancement course for University Auditors and also for PTJ Auditors with the objective of improving auditors' understanding of standard clauses and strengthening the implementation of internal audits in improving the effectiveness of the UPM Quality Management System. It is also in preparation for the UPM Internal Audit for the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015 which is being conducted from 1st April 2026 until 31st May 2026. This course is conducted by Mrs. Noraihan Noordin, Chief Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Food Science and Technology. He is also a University Auditor (Lead Assessor QMS) and has extensive experience in the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001 either inside or outside Universiti Putra Malaysia. This course was attended by 33 participants with the aim to refresh the auditor in relation to clauses in the ISO 9001:2015 standard, effective audit techniques (audit planning and audit trail), ways to plan, implement, prepare reports and take follow-up actions on internal audits, write non-conformity reports and ways to take corrective actions and follow-up on non-conformities to strengthen the implementation of internal audits in improving the effectiveness of the UPM Quality Management System. This course successfully achieved the planned objectives and the participants were very satisfied with the organization of the course.
