18th – 21st May 2026, Putrajaya  - A total of 2 officers from the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Syamilah (Director of CQA), Ms. Aidawati (Head of Institutional Audit Section) together with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) of UPM, Professor Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim and Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohammad Yazdi (CQA Associate Fellow) attended the Certified Officer in Quality Assurance of Higher Education Training Programme Tier 3 course organised by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) at the Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya on 18th to 21st May 2026. Among the teaching instructor conducting the MQA Tier 3 Course sharing session are Dr. Hazman Shah Abdullah and Professor Dr. Hanim Salleh which includes two (2) modules, namely: External Assessment – â€‹â€‹Aims to train the assessment panel with knowledge about planning, implementing and reporting assessments.   Global Quality Assurance Perspectives   - Aims to provide insights and understanding into the validity of regional and international qualification frameworks (QF) and quality assurance (QA) of programmes and institutions. To test the level of understanding and competence, participants were given group assignments and had to undergo an online interview session conducted by instructors after the end of the programme. Congratulations to all CQA Officers and Associate Fellows for the perseverance and dedication shown in completing all levels of the training programme up to Tier 3 towards becoming certified Quality Assurance Officers.
