| 14th May 2025, Bintulu - The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) for the first time held an Academic Quality Assurance Roadshow (JJKA) program to appreciate and translate UPM's True North which was emphasized in the message of the Vice-Chancellor of UPM, YBhg. Dato' Professor Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah so that UPM staff provide services beyond expectations. Therefore, starting in 2025, UPM Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) has been selected as the first stopover location for the JJKA program as one of the ways of the CQA outreach programme to faculties/schools which was held for two (2) days starting 14 and 15 May 2025. |

The roadshow programme at UPMKB was attended by 6 CQA delegations consisting of Professor Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim Abu Talib (Director of CQA), Associate Professor Dr. Noor Syamilah Zakaria (Deputy Director of CQA), Associate Professor Dr. Muskhazli Mustafa (Associate Fellow of CQA/Lecturer from the Faculty of Science), Mrs. Sharin Azlin Ab Rahman (Head of Institutional Audit Section), Mrs. Rahmawati Umar (Head of Programme Audit Section) and Ms. Aidawati Ramali (Head of Programme Data Section).

Among the objectives of the JJKA are:
- Introducing Academic Quality Assurance and its role;
- Strengthen the understanding and role of faculty management and program owners regarding the latest MQA and CQA requirements;
- Provide consultation to program owners and discuss issues/challenges in complying with standard requirements.

On the first day of the JJKA programme, an Academic Quality Assurance Briefing was held, presented by Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim (Director of CQA) and attended by 30 participants consisting of the Dean, Deputy Dean of Academics, Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, Head of Department, Programme Coordinator and Academic Administrator.
