EKSA Exhibition in Conjunction with Putra Synergy Month 2026

15th July 2026, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Implementation Exhibition held in conjunction with the Launching Ceremony of Putra Synergy Month 2026 from 15 to 16 June 2026 at Pusat Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The exhibition was organised as part of Putra Synergy Month 2026, which took place from 1 to 30 June 2026, as a university-wide effort to mobilise actions, activities and programmes based on UPM's five main focus areas for 2026.

CQA's participation in the exhibition featured the theme "Jiwa PUTRA Programme Cultivates EKSA" under the Jiwa PUTRA focus area. Through this exhibition, CQA shared the implementation of EKSA as an approach to developing a clean, organised, safe and conducive workplace, while supporting more efficient, quality-driven and professional university service delivery. This initiative also demonstrated how the values of volunteerism, and togetherness can be translated into practical action through the care of workspaces and the daily work culture of UPM staff.

Putra Synergy Month 2026 focused on five key areas, namely Agriculture and Food Security, Planetary Health and Sustainability, Global Prominence, Staff and Community Well-being, and Jiwa PUTRA. In this regard, the exhibition served as a platform for sharing best practices, innovation and the commitment of the university community in supporting UPM's strategic direction.

To support the appreciation of EKSA throughout the programme, four main components were highlighted: Jiwa Putra Community Clean-up, PTJ EKSA Innovation Competition, Jiwa Putra Green Office, and PTJ EKSA Implementation Assessment. The community clean-up activity encouraged PTJ staff to create neat and safe workspaces, while the innovation competition provided room for creative ideas that could improve work processes. The Jiwa Putra Green Office initiative emphasised green practices such as energy saving, reduced paper usage and sustainable resource management.

The PTJ EKSA Implementation Assessment was carried out to evaluate the level of compliance, implementation effectiveness and areas for continuous improvement. Overall, the exhibition not only introduced EKSA activities to the university community, but also strengthened CQA's role in cultivating quality, innovation and systematic management practices at UPM. The implementation of EKSA through the Jiwa PUTRA approach is expected to further inspire a shared sense of responsibility towards a more productive, sustainable and conducive work environment.
