11th November 2025, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) has organised the CQA Decade Celebration on 11 November 2025 at the UPM Canselori Putra Building. The celebration was held to commemorate CQA’s journey and achievements throughout its 10 years of establishment. The theme of the celebration, “Empowering Quality, Strengthening Legacy”, reflects CQA’s commitment to making quality assurance the backbone of academic and service excellence at UPM. Among the highlights of the celebration included the talk programme "A Decade of Upholding Quality Driving Higher Education Excellence", exhibition by the Innovation in Service Projects and Best EKSA Practices by iDEC, FBMK, K10, HSAAS, FK, the Registrar’s Office, FP, BHEP; the CQA booth featuring CQA Achievement Exhibitions, Quizzes, an Appreciation Corner, as well as agricultural product sales by Putra Agricultural Centre. The programme was further enlivened by the launch of the CQA Decade Coffee Table Book, the launch of the UPM Quality Assurance Framework (UPMQAF), and the launch of CQA’s publications including the Laporan Dwitahunan Pemberi Pendidikan Tinggi Berstatus Swaakreditasi Bagi Tahun 2022- 2024, Panduan Penyediaan Laporan Penilaian Kendiri Program (Programme Self-Review Report (PSRR) 2.0 UPM dan Laporan ‘MQA Award 2025’ : Anugerah Kecemerlangan Pemberi Pendidikan Tinggi: Jaminan Kualiti Dalaman (IQA). Certificates of appreciation were also presented to CQA Adjunct Fellows and Associate Fellows. The highlight of the celebration was the cutting of the pulut kuning as a symbolic gesture of CQA’s 10-year establishment. The celebration was also attended by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, UPM Vice-Chancellor; former CQA staff; Yang Berbahagia Professor Ts. Dr. M. Iqbal Saripan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA); and Yang Berbahagia Professor Dr. Amin Ismail, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, which both are former Director of CQA, who served as the Inspirational Leaders panel for the talk session.
