9th May 2023, Serdang -Centre for Quality Assurance  (CQA) has organized a course for the scope of MS ISO/IEC17025 titled Addressing Risks and Opportunities by inviting a speaker from the Malaysian Accreditation Laboratory Association (PMAM) namely Dr. Jahangir Kamaldin. He is a PMAM Trainer and Senior Lead Advisor Laboratory Management System at UIAA Intellectual Advisory, Malaysia. The one-day course on 9th May 2023 was held at Mini Auditorium 1, Level 3, Office Building of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM. The course was attended by 22 participants consisting of accreditation laboratory personnel which 4 of them are from the Faculty of Engineering (FK), 3 from the Faculty of Science (FS), 2 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV), 9 from the Halal Products Research Institute ( IPPH), one from the Institute of Bioscience (IBS) and 3 people from the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2). At the end of this course, participants were given a take home test to be answered within a week to assess the participant's level of understanding.
