30 March 2026, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) received a delegation from the Centre for Academic Quality Assurance (CAQA), UCSI University for a Benchmarking Visit to Quality Assurance Management and Academic Accreditation. The visit, which took place at the UPM CQA Meeting Room, aimed to share best practices and strengthen strategic cooperation between the two institutions in ensuring that academic quality standards and accreditation processes are always at the highest level. The CAQA UCSI University delegation was led by Professor EUR ING. Ir. Ts. Dr. Ang Chun Kit , as the Deputy Associate Vice-Chancellor of CAQA, together with eight (8) other senior officers including managers and senior executives from various units. Among the main focuses of discussion during the visit included: Internal academic quality monitoring mechanism. Coordination of the study program accreditation process. Innovation in quality assurance data management. This meeting session was also attended by the Deputy Director of UPM CQA along with the Academic and Service Quality Assurance team. The exchange of ideas and experiences between both parties is expected to provide significant added value to the strengthening of quality governance at the respective university levels. UPM CQA expresses its highest appreciation to UCSI University for choosing UPM as a benchmark reference destination and hopes that this close relationship will continue for the sake of excellence in national higher education.
