29th April 2026, Serdang   - Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has successfully organized the 2026 Kick-Off: Bengkel Pemerkasaan Fellow Fellows at L'apprenti Restaurant, Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTM), UPM, last night. The workshop, which runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, aims to harmonize work movements and strengthen the role of Fellow Fellows in driving the university's quality assurance agenda for 2026. The event began with the "Inspiration and Aspiration" session delivered by the Director of the UPM Quality Assurance Center. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of synergy between CQA residents and Fellow Fellows in maintaining a culture of high quality throughout campus. He also outlined the strategic goals that need to be achieved to ensure that every academic process complies with established quality assurance standards. One of the main contents of the workshop in the afternoon was a discussion session on "Strategies for Maintaining Self-Accreditation Status: The Role of Allied Fellows". This session focuses on proactive steps that have been designed for the issue of maintaining self-accreditation status which will be faced in 2028. Organizing this workshop has also become an important platform for welcoming the presence of Fellow Fellows into the CQA team. All inducted fellows will work together closely within two years of their inauguration to develop and implement a continuous academic quality assurance action plan. The workshop ended with an afternoon drink and refreshment session at 5:00 pm with a renewed enthusiasm to carry out the mandate for 2026.
