6th November 2025, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) received a benchmarking visit from Institute of Quality and Knowledge Development (InQKA), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) on 6th November 2025 at CQA Meeting Room. InQKA visit to CQA was aimed at learning best practices in quality assurance management and academic accreditation at UPM, sharing experiences related to academic quality assurance management and obtaining the best input for continuous improvement in quality assurance management and academic accreditation at UiTM.
CQA has been selected by InQKA UiTM to be benchmarked following UPM's success in winning the Higher Education Provider Excellence Award (PPT): Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) in the Self-Accredited University Status category and UPM was also listed among the Top Five Universities for the Main Quality Assurance Award in conjunction with the MQA Awards 2025 held on 11th August 2025.
InQKA delegation of 7 officers led by Associate Professor Dr. Kamarularifin Abd Jalil (Director of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit) was also accompanied by Associate Professor Ts. Dr.-Ing. Shahrul Azam Abdullah (Director of the Quality Management, Innovation and Knowledge Development Unit), Associate Professor Dr. Sheila Belayutham (Head of Academic Accreditation (S&T)), Ts. Dr. Razulaimi Razali (Head of Quality Management), Mrs. Siti Nor Hadijah Md Supaat (Deputy Registrar), Miss Noor Azwani Asyikin Samad (Assistant Registrar) and Miss Fatin (Photographer, Communication and Knowledge Development Unit).
The visit was graced by Dr. Zufarzaana (Deputy Director of Academic Quality Assurance), Ms. Hajah Haslida (Deputy Director of Service Quality Assurance), Head of Section from Academic Quality Assurance and Service Quality Assurance .
