30th June 2026, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has received a delegation from the Quality Management Division (BPQ), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in a benchmarking visit session related to quality assurance management and academic accreditation which took place at the CQA Meeting Room, UPM. The UPSI delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Modi bin Lakulu, Director of UPSI's Quality Management Division, along with six other officers consisting of UPSI BPQ management and administrative officers. The purpose of this visit was to gain exposure and sharing of best practices related to academic quality assurance management at UPM, specifically involving the following aspects:
During the session, the UPSI delegation was briefed on the structure and implementation of the academic quality assurance system at UPM, including UPM's experience in managing self-accreditation status and integrated audit implementation that supports continuous improvement efforts at the university level. This benchmark visit is not only a platform for sharing knowledge and experience between the two institutions, but also strengthens strategic networks and collaborations in strengthening quality management and academic excellence in higher education institutions. CQA UPM expresses its highest appreciation to the BPQ UPSI delegation for the visit and hopes that the cooperative relationship will continue to be strengthened in order to improve the country's higher education quality assurance practices. |
