17th April 2024, Serdang –Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) through the Organizational Management Division, Registrar's Department, held a benchmarking visit to the Universiti Putra Malaysia Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) on Wednesday, 17th April 2024. The delegation of four consist of Mrs. Hartini Darsono (Deputy Registrar / Head of Division), Mrs. Sabrina Ibrahim (Senior Assistant Registrar), Mrs. Siti Zarinah Abdul Jalal (Senior Assistant Registrar) and Mr. Mohd Sufian Nooralazam (Assistant Registrar). The visit aims to see in detail and sharing experience in the management of the Quality Management System at UPM. This is because UTM just has restructuring tasks related to the Quality Management System. The sharing session by CQA was shared and presented by Mrs. Haslida binti Hassan (Deputy Director of Service Quality Assurance), Mrs. Shamriza binti Shari (Head of Documentation Section), Mrs. Zenaida binti Md Zenon (Head of Quality Audit Section) and Mrs. Siti Fatimah Hasim (Head of Quality Culture Section). The session started with a briefing on the implementation and management of SPK (QMS) and the Quality Award at UPM and was followed by a question and answer session and a discussion between the two Universities. The two-and-a-half-hour discussion was impactful on both Universities as were able to share information and exchange views on the management and implementation of the best practices on Quality Management System.
