1st June 2023, Serdang – Ranhill SAJ Sdn. Bhd. held a benchmarking visit to the Quality Assurance Center (CQA) of Universiti Putra Malaysia on Thursday, 1st June 2023. The seven-person delegation consisted of staff from the Quality Assurance and Information Technology Sections. Ranhill SAJ Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ranhill Utilities Berhad is an integrated water supply company involved in the water treatment process and the distribution of treated water to consumers in the State of Johor. As the exclusive supplier of tap water in Malaysia's second most populous state since 1999, Ranhill SAJ supports the state's robust growth and development by ensuring the availability and efficient management of quality water supply. This visit aims to gain knowledge related to Internal Audit Management and Risk Management at UPM, especially the use of PortalCQA and e-OPRISK. In addition, the sharing session also involved the scope of work at the Quality Assurance Center, the ISO management and monitoring structure, the e-ISO System, including document and record management. The sharing session by CQA was shared and presented by Puan Haslida binti Hassan (Head of Division of Quality Management Service) and Puan Zenaida binti Md Zenon (Head of Quality Audit Section). Overall, this two-and-a-half-hour discussion session had a positive impact on both agencies because they were able to share information and exchange views on the management and implementation of the best and appropriate Quality Management System to be implemented in their respective places.
