14th May 2026, Lenggeng - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) is strengthening its network with the community by organising the Academic Quality and Service Quality Aspiration Programme at SMK Dato' Klana Putra, Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan which was also attended by the Academic Promotion Section, Admissions Division and Academic Governance Division of BAKD as well as the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science of UPM (ASPutra) Promotion Team. A total of 85 Form 4 students along with four guidance and counselling teachers participated in the "Accreditation for Academic Quality Excellence Catalyst" slot which took place in the SMK Dato' Klana Putra Hall, while seven teachers and 15 Form 3 students were selected to participate in the "EKSA Practice and Green Sustainability" slot which was held in the Muafakat Hall. The slot, conducted by Dr. Zufarzaana Zulkeflee, Deputy Director of Academic Quality Assurance, CQA, aimed to share the Educational Pathway and the Importance of Accreditation by providing exposure on the importance of Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) accreditation in ensuring the quality of higher education programmes and its connection to educational and career opportunities after graduation. Immediately afterwards, the promotion of UPM's study programmes continued, conducted by representatives of the BAKD and ASPutra Promotion Units. Meanwhile, at the Muafakat Hall, the "EKSA Practices and Green Sustainability" slot was conducted by Mrs. Nurainakmal Kamal Bahrin as the UPM EKSA Coordinator by delivering a briefing on the Introduction to Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem Practices (EKSA) to provide exposure to work culture and a quality environment that can be applied at the school level through EKSA practices. In addition, a demonstration session on the production of innovative products with a corporate image using the concept of recycling items was also carried out through video screenings. Indeed, programmes like this are seen as being able to become an important platform in strengthening relationships between universities and school communities through the sharing of knowledge, motivation and awareness related to higher education as well as quality work culture practices that can be directly applied in the school environment and daily life.
