20th February 2024, Serdang - The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) has conducted the 59th Quality Committee Meeting on February 20, 2024, at the Senate Hall, Chancellor's Building, UPM. This meeting is an annual activity scheduled in the UPM Service Quality Activities Calendar for the year 2024. A total of 55 members, including Deputy Representatives of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), Deputy Representatives of Process Leading Management (TWP PP), Deputy Representatives of Responsibility Center Management (TWP PTJ), University Document Control Officers, University Audit Coordinators, University Customer Satisfaction Coordinators, University Department Record Officers, University Staff Training Coordinators, and representatives attended the meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Amin Ismail, who is the Director of the CQA and concurrently the ISO Management Representative of UPM. The role of the UPM Quality Committee includes: Ensuring the periodic suitability, sufficiency, and effectiveness of the ISO Management System implementation; Assessing improvement opportunities and the need for changes to functional and level action plans, ISMS objectives, and targets; Approving any proposed amendments to documents within the scope of ISO Management (QMS & ISMS); and Monitoring the effectiveness of ISO implementation at the Process Leading and Responsibility Center levels.   Agenda items discussed in this meeting included: ISO UPM Documentation Management; ISO UPM Quality Audit Management; UPM ISO objectives Achievement; UPM ISO Stakeholder Feedback; UPM ISO Risk Assessment; University Training Management; University Record Management; and Other Matters related to UPM Quality Management.
