INTRODUCTION     The University through the 338th University Management Committee Meeting on 8th July 2009 has agreed to obtain the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) and MS ISO 15189 (Medical laboratories – Requirements for Quality and Competence) to ensure the implementation and management of laboratories at UPM according to quality standards. In order to ensure that the testing services offered by research laboratories and services can be improved in quality, several steps have been taken to identify laboratories at UPM that have the potential to be accredited.    Figure 11 shows the list of Accreditation Laboratories according to PTJ from 2008 to 2022.     Figure 11 : List of Accredited Laboratories at UPM   LIST OF ACCREDITED LABORATORIES AT UPM   As of 2022, Universiti Putra Malaysia has 15 Accreditation Laboratories that have been certified by the Malaysian Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAMM) from the Malaysian Standards Department (Standards Malaysia).
