Jangan Biar Sakit Lutut Ganggu Rutin Kehidupan Harian

Knee pain is a health problem that is often experienced by various levels of society, both young and old.

The knee is the main joint that supports body movements such as walking, running, climbing stairs, and sitting and standing.

Due to its important function and constant use in daily activities, the knee is susceptible to injury and joint wear and tear.

Knee pain is also considered a common problem in daily life that affects a person's quality of life.

One of the main causes of knee pain is age. As a person ages, the knee joint will naturally experience wear and tear.

This condition causes the cartilage in the joints to become thinner and less effective as a shock absorber.

As a result, movement becomes less smooth and causes pain or discomfort.

Problems such as osteoarthritis often occur among the elderly and are the main cause of prolonged knee pain.

Apart from age factors, young people can also experience knee pain due to lifestyle and daily activities.

Individuals who frequently do heavy work, stand for too long or lift excessive weights are at high risk of experiencing knee pain. The same goes for athletes or individuals who are active in sports, especially high-impact sports such as football, badminton and long-distance running.

Repetitive movements or improper technique can cause injury to the ligaments, tendons or muscles around the knee.

Being overweight is also a contributing factor to knee pain. Excess weight puts extra pressure on the knee joint every time a person moves.

This pressure can accelerate joint damage and cause prolonged pain.

Therefore, individuals who are obese are more likely to experience knee problems than those who are of ideal weight.

Knee pain not only has a physical impact, but also affects a person's emotions and daily life.

Individuals who experience knee pain may find it difficult to move, work or perform daily activities. This condition can cause emotional distress, discomfort and lower self-confidence.

In the long term, untreated knee pain can affect quality of life and lead to dependence on others.

However, knee pain can be prevented and reduced through healthy lifestyle practices.

These include maintaining an ideal body weight, doing light exercise regularly to strengthen the leg muscles, and practicing proper posture when working or playing sports.

Apart from that, seeking early treatment and a health check-up if you experience prolonged knee pain is very important to prevent the condition from becoming more serious.

Although knee pain is often considered a trivial problem, its impact on a person's life should not be underestimated.

Awareness of knee health care and lifestyle practices

Healthy living needs to be implemented among the community so that knee pain problems can be reduced and quality of life can be improved.
