21th November 2023, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance held an Action Plan Workshop on the Nonconformity Report (NCR) of SIRIM Audit on Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015 Year 2023, on November 16^th, 2023 (Thursday) in the CQA Meeting Room UPM starting at 9.00 am until 1.00 pm.

This workshop was attended by participants from the Responsibility Center (PTJ) and Process Owners involved in the non-conformities (NCR) received during the Monitoring Audit Revision 2 of the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015 by SIRIM, which took place from 9 to 13 October 2023. A total of eight PTJs which were FS, SPS, FPV, BAKD, Internal Audit,  TNCPI Ofifice, RMC, and Registrar Office) were involved in the workshop in addition to CQA who acted as the Secretariat. The workshop was also attended by Puan Rozi Tamin from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology as a CQA Associate Fellow who acted as a facilitator throughout the workshop.

This workshop aims to refine the NCR Action Plan to get the actual action plan to be sent to the SIRIM Auditor. It is also to ensure that the action plan of audit findings can be effectively identified to avoid repeated non-conformities. If the SIRIM Auditor agrees with the proposed action plan, PTJ will implement the action and evidence of the action will be sent to the SIRIM Auditor within 3 months after the closing date of the audit.
