Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and peace be upon you.

Welcome to the Center for Quality Assurance  (CQA) Website, UPM! I am grateful to Allah because with His grace and permission, the Website@CQA  can be developed with the aim of becoming an information platform and source of reference regarding the management and implementation of academic quality assurance activities and service quality assurance for UPM staff in particular.

CQA was officially established on 1st November 2015 and operates in line with UPM's vision and mission. This centre is entrusted as a one-stop centre to manage, plan, implement and monitor academic quality assurance and service quality assurance activities at UPM. As one of the public universities leading the national research agenda, UPM is also a university that has been recognised with self-accreditation status since 2010 by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Through this recognition, CQA is given the mandate to accredit academic programmes offered by UPM based on the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF), standards issued by MQA and relevant professional bodies, along with current policies/regulations/circulars/guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. In addition, CQA is responsible for ensuring the success and culture of quality at UPM through the implementation of the ISO Quality Management System (QMS MS ISO 9001; ISMS ISO/IEC 27001). At the same time, CQA also acts as a liaison with all external and internal stakeholders of UPM in supporting and strengthening the institution's internal quality assurance agenda.

In conjunction with the CQA Decade Celebration 2025, it is my mandate during this appointment period to ensure that the CQA Family is united and positive-minded, in facing every challenge in our careers and expectations in the future. May we all always be blessed with inspiration and light, so that we can continue the legacy and fulfill this mandate in consensus with one determination: Stepping together in celebrating diversity, uniqueness and the strength of character and personality, which can certainly contribute to the impact and sustainability of CQA.

Finally, I hope that UPM staff will benefit from the content of this website. I also welcome any constructive views and suggestions for improvement to ensure that CQA can always live up to UPM's True North: Providing quality services that exceed expectations, which will make a meaningful contribution to the excellence of the UPM ecosystem, Insyaallah.
