Workshop on Refining EKSA Practice Implementation Guidelines

 

4th March 2026, Serdang – Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has prepared the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Implementation Guidelines as a reference for all Responsibility Centers (PTJ) in implementing systematic, conducive, and corporate-image work environment management, which aligns with the requirements of the EKSA assessment. These Guidelines have been in effect since 2020 and are constantly reviewed and improved from time to time to ensure their suitability with current needs and developments. To ensure that the Guidelines remain relevant and effective, several improvement suggestions have been submitted by the Chief Facilitator team. Therefore, all UPM EKSA Facilitators were invited to the UPM EKSA Guidelines Refinement Workshop on 20th January 2026, at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia, to refine the content of the Guidelines before they are enforced.

  • UPM EKSA Implementation Objectives
  • UPM EKSA Motto & Logo
  • UPM EKSA Organization Chart
  • Chapter 1: Purpose of UPM EKSA
  • Chapter 2: Introduction to UPM EKSA
  • Chapter 3: Benefits of UPM PTJ EKSA Implementation
  • Chapter 4: Implementation of UPM PTJ EKSA
  • Chapter 5: Internal Audit of UPM PTJ EKSA
  • Chapter 6: Standardization Standards of UPM EKSA

This content covers EKSA components, including:

  • Component A: Main Implementation Requirements
  • Component B: Workspace/Office Space
  • Component C: Public Places
  • Component D: Environmental Safety
  • Component E: Departmental Environment Area
    • E1: Agency Has Its Own Building and Area
    • E2: Agency Has a Building and Shares an Area
  • Component F: Specific Places (Appropriate According To Agency Needs)

Following the initial workshop, another EKSA guidelines refinement workshop was held to provide focus and further examination on the assessment rubrics for Component F: Specific places (appropriate according to agency needs). This follow-up workshop was held on 4th March 2026, at the Meeting Room, Centre of Quality Assurance, involving facilitators according to the scope of the PTJ.
