13th March 2025, Serdang - The Quality Assurance Centre (CQA) has held a Programme Quality Management Committee Meeting at the Seri Amar Room, Faculty of Modern Languages ​​and Communication. This meeting is the first meeting in 2025 to be held at least once a year by the Academic Quality Assurance Division. The meeting, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syamilah Zakaria, KB,PA, was attended by 25 Academic Administrators in the Faculty and School. The Academic Quality Management Committee is a platform for discussion and information regarding academic quality assurance including the latest policies and guidelines introduced by MQA. Among the agendas for JKPEKA Meeting No. 1 2025 are as follows: 1. Welcome and appreciation speech by the chairman to the new appointments and changes of administrative officers who manage the academics of undergraduate and graduate study programs; 2. Introduction to the new CQA structure, especially Academic Quality Assurance; 3. Explanation of the status of the implementation of program accreditation for 2024 and the planning of program audits in 2025; 4. Explanation of the status of registration and updating of UPM programs on the MQA Portal for Temporary Accreditation certificates and MQR for programs that have passed Full Accreditation; and 5. Sharing of information on the process and preparation of UPM in facing the Institutional Audit that will be faced in 2027. Finally, the meeting hopes that each administrator can play a role as a quality assurance agent who can help CQA not only deliver relevant information but also ensure that each UPM academic program complies with the policies and guidelines in force.
