19th July 2024, Serdang  - The Centere for Quality Assurance  (CQA) held the 60th Quality Committee Meeting on 19th July 2024 at the Engineer Conference Room, Faculty of Engineering. This meeting is an annual activity that has been scheduled in the UPM Service Quality Activity Calendar for the year 2024. A total of 58 members consisting of Information Security Management System Deputy Management Representatives (ISMS), Process Lead Management Deputy Representatives (TWP PP), Deputy Management Representative of Responsibility Center   (TWP PTJ), University Document Control Officer, University Audit Coordinator, University Customer Satisfaction Coordinator, University Department Records Officer, University Staff Training Coordinator and representatives attended the meeting chaired by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Abd. Rahim Abu Talib who is the Director, Centre for Quality Assurance  and the UPM ISO Management Representative. The UPM Quality Committee is responsible for: Ensure the appropriateness, adequacy and effectiveness of the implementation of the ISO Management System on a regular basis; Make an assessment of improvement opportunities and change needs to: + functional and level action plans. + ISMS objectives and targets. Approving any proposed document amendments for the scope of ISO Management (QMS & ISMS); and Take note of the effectiveness of ISO implementation at the Process Champion and Responsibility Center (PTJ) level. Among the agendas discussed in this meeting are as follows: UPM ISO Documentation Management; UPM ISO Quality Audit Management; Achievement of UPM's ISO Objectives; UPM ISO Stakeholder Feedback; ISO UPM Risk Assessment; University Training Management; University Records Management; and Other matters related to UPM's quality management. The notification of changes in the organizational structure of the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) which will come into effect on 1st April 2024 was also presented for the attention of all members of the meeting. The meeting also congratulated the new members of the UPM Quality Committee which comprises 13 officers from various PTJ and also thanked the former JK Quality for their contribution and commitment in ensuring the quality of UPM's service delivery always excellent and effective.   The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) expresses its deepest appreciation and thanks to the UPM Quality Committee who have given continuous commitment towards quality agenda at the PTJ and UPM levels. In addition, appreciation to all for having jointly successfully implemented the UPM Internal Audit at the PTJ level for the Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) within stipulated period (22nd April 2024 to 28th June 2024).
