5 November 2024, Serdang - Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) under the Programme Audit Section led by Puan Rahmawati Umar held a Briefing on Preparation of the Programme Self-Assessment Report 2025 Edition for the Pilot Programme on 5th November 2024 at Mini Auditorium 1,  Building of Deputy Vice Chancellor Office (Research and Innovation), Universiti Putra Malaysia. This half-day programme aims to explain the preparation of Programme Self-Assessment Reports using a new format that is expected to come into effect in 2025. Four pilot programmes offered in five (5) faculties/schools have been selected to get assisted  by the PSRR 2.0 Writing Task Force comprises of eight (8) CQA Associate Fellows. The Pilot Programmes are as follows: Bachelor of Aquaculture Science with Honours Bachelor of Biological Science with Honours Master of Entrepreneurship Diploma in Business Management Briefing session delivered by  Associate Prof. Dr. Muskhazli Mustafa as the Chairman of PSRR 2.0 Writing Task Force was attended by a total of 25 programme representatives consisting of Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments, Coordinators and Administrative Officers.  Associate Prof. Dr. Muskhazli session covers the topic of PSRR introduction, PSRR Committee responsibilities, suggested timeline for PSRR preparation as well as features and format of PSRR writing. In addition, the writing methods and components that the programme can focus on when writing PSRR 2.0 are also explained. Finally, the participants were briefed about the action plan of the pilot programme in which a series of writing workshops will be conducted as needed until the full implementation of PSRR 2.0 at UPM in 2025. Hopefully this briefing session will not only improve the understanding of all the participants but help the programme owners to prepare evaluation reports for Full Accreditation and Maintenance Audit which meet the expectations of the evaluation panel.
