20 Januari 2025, Serdang – The Documentation Section, Quality Assurance Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia, held an online briefing on ISO Document Management on 20 January 2025 for all newly appointed Deputy Document Control Officers for Process Leaders (TPKD PP) and Deputy Document Control Officers for Responsibility Centres (TPKD PTJ), as well as a refresher briefing for existing TPKDs. A total of 50 participants attended this session, which aimed to explain the procedures for ISO documentation management at UPM that need to be followed by TPKD PP and TPKD PTJ to ensure the smooth operation of ISO documentation management at the process leader and responsibility centre levels. This briefing is an annual activity organized by CQA in preparation for the UPM Internal Audit, scheduled to take place from April to June 2025. The briefing was delivered by Ms. Nurainakmal Kamal Bahrin, UPM's Document Control Officer, focusing on the following topics: Terms of appointment for Deputy Document Control Officers for Process Leaders (TPKD PP) and Deputy Document Control Officers for Responsibility Centres (TPKD PTJ); Management of ISO Controlled Documents; Management of Internal and External Reference Documents; Review of Documents Not Updated in 2021; Review of File Classification Codes in ISO Procedures. The briefing was also seen as a platform to gather feedback from TPKDs regarding areas for improvement in the implementation of ISO documentation management at UPM.
