19th May 2025 and 16th June 2025, Putrajaya - A total of 3 officers from Centre for Quality Assurance  (CQA) had attended the Certified Officer in Quality Assurance of Higher Education Training Programme Tier 2 course organised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) at Zenith Hotel, Putrajaya on 19th – 24th May 2025, consisting of Professor Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim (Director of CQA), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noor Syamilah (Deputy Director of Academic Quality Assurance) and Ms. Aidawati (Head of Institutional Audit Section).   The  sharing session for the MQA Tier 2 Course were conducted by Dr. Hazman Shah Abdullah, Professor Ts. Dr. Roziah Mohd Janor and Sr. Ir. Dr. Suhaimi Abdul Talib which covers topics: Quality Assurance Requirements Quality Assurance Management Audit and Accreditation Management   Meanwhile, for the participation in the Certified Officer in Quality Assurance of Higher Education Training Programme Tier 1 on 16th - 21st June 2025 at Zenith Hotel, Putrajaya, 2 CQA officers, namely Ms. Rahmawati and Ms. Shaerin Azlin had participated. In addition, CQA also sponsored the participation of 4 CQA Associate Fellows, consisting of Associate Prof. Dr. Muskhazli (Faculty of Science), Associate Prof. Dr. Juwaidah (Faculty of Agriculture), Associate Prof. Ts. Dr. Hassan (Faculty of Design and Architecture), Associate Prof. Dr. Farah Adibah (Faculty of Food Science and Technology).   The speakers for the MQA Tier 1 Course were Mrs. Norasikin Yahya (Director, Accreditation Division (Arts & Humanities), MQA), Mr. Kamarul Bakri Abd Aziz (Head, Integrity and Enforcement Unit, MQA), Sr. Ir. Dr. Suhaimi Abdul Talib and Prof. Dr. Sharipah Ruzaina Syed Aris. Throughout the training session, participants were exposed to three (3) modules, namely: Quality Assurance and Regulatory Instrument OBE: Philosophy, Formulation of LO and Constructive Alignment Curriculum Design, Delivery and Programme Review   To test the level of understanding and competence, participants were given assignments after the program ended. Congratulations to all CQA Officers and Associate Fellows who have passed Tier 1 and Tier 2 assessments and are eligible to advance to Tier 2 and then Tier 3  towards becoming certified Quality Assurance Officers.
