28th July 2025, Serdang – Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia has conducted an Internal Audit for the Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2015 on 21 to 22 April 2025 and the Information Security Management System (ISMS) MS ISO/IEC 27001:2022 on 23 April 2025. This audit aims to audit CQA's compliance to the standards, procedures, work instructions, guidelines, legislation, circulars; provide input / suggestions for improvement opportunities to CQA; and ensure CQA's readiness for the third-party audit by SIRIM in September 2025.   The audit, which held for 3 days, was led by Puan Noraihan binti Noordin for QMS and Ts. Ahmad Faisal bin Abdul Ghafar for ISMS. The QMS Internal Audit was also assisted by 10 PTJ Auditors to ensure that all scopes at CQA could be reviewed. The Audit Opening and Closing Meeting was chaired by Puan Haslida Hassan, Deputy Director of Service Quality Assurance in the CQA Meeting Room.   Overall, Puan Noraihan and Ts. Ahmad Faizal were satisfied with the implementation of QMS and ISMS at CQA and provided several opportunity for improvements (OFI) to further improve and strengthen the QMS and ISMS processes at CQA. The commitment from all CQA staff towards the implementation of QMS and ISMS is the main strength of CQA which also acts as the coordinator in the implementation of ISO at UPM.
