20th December 2024, Serdang - The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has implemented a Workshop on the Development of the Functional and Level Action Plan and the CQA Customer Charter for the Year 2025 at Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya.

This workshop involved all levels of CQA staff, seventeen (17) people, led by Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd. Rahim Abu Talib as Director, CQA. The objective of this workshop was to develop the Functional and Level Action Plan and the CQA Customer Charter for implementation and measurement of achievements in 2025. This initiative is to ensure that the role of CQA as the leader of the university's quality agenda is relevant to current needs in line with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets set by UPM.

As a result of this workshop session, CQA has successfully strengthened and developed two (2) Functional and Level Action Plans for two (2) CQA Support Process Scopes, namely Self-Accreditation Management and Audit Management.

The CQA Customer Charter for 2025 has also been successfully strengthened and developed through five (5) Customer Charters, based on the role of each section and based on the needs of relevant internal/external customers for measurement purposes.

The commitment from all CQA staff involved, as well as taking the initiative by providing various inputs, has greatly helped in the success of achieving the objectives of this workshop. This one-day workshop session has also strengthened the bond of teamwork and brotherhood among CQA staff.
