8th July 2025, Petaling Jaya – Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) was invited by Universiti Keusahawanan Koperasi Malaysia (UKKM) to share expertise on Outcome Based Education (OBE) at the Malaysian Cooperative Institute on 8th July 2025. The Introduction to Outcome Based Education (OBE) Workshop proposed by the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, UKKM was attended by 14 academic staff. The workshop was held with the aim of providing exposure and introduction to academic staff regarding the concept and implementation of OBE. Apart from that, participants have the opportunity to learn and apply the OBE approach to improve the quality of teaching and learning. CQA Director, Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd Rahim Abu Talib and Deputy Director,  Academic Quality Assurance, CQA Associate Professor Dr. Noor Syamilah Zakaria was willing to accept the invitation as a speaker at the workshop. Head of Institutional Audit Section, Cik Aidawati Ramali was also present as the CQA secretariat. Among the collaboration topics presented were Introduction to OBE, OBE Concepts and Principles, OBE Process in terms of design, implementation, monitoring and assessment. This initiative has also become a means for CQA to generate income from honorarium  for professional services which are put into CQA Training Trust Fund. This expertise sharing invitation is the second time for CQA, which in 2023 received an invitation from Multimedia University (MMU) to share UPM's experience in undergoing Self-Accreditation Compliance Audit in 2022.
